Frequently Asked Questions

What should we expect from a shoot?

Your session will be between 30 min and 1.5 hrs depending on which package you choose, ideally in the evening to make use of beautiful golden light.
I aim to capture genuine connections between yourself and your loved ones. This means generally no stiff posing and smiling straight at the camera like traditional portraits, though I will often start like this to ease us all into the session!
I will very likely then ask some funny questions or get you to do some silly things to relax the atmosphere and let the genuine you shine.

What should we wear?

Most important is that you are comfortable and feel like what you are wearing represents yourself.
My tips are to dress for the season and location, avoid brights and any logos, and avoid being too matchy-matchy.
For family shoots, start with Mum and build from there.
If in doubt I'm happy to chat and help come up with something.

Do you have a client wardrobe?

I have a limited collection of maternity dresses, a couple of things for young children, and some baby wraps and hats. I also have lots of contacts and hire places so lets chat about what you after!

How do we get our photos?

You'll receive a gallery of roughly 50 to 100 images from which to make your selection. Final selected photos will then be available for download.

How many photos do we get?

That depends on the package you purchase and any additional photos you choose to purchase. See my Packages page for more information.

Whats your turn around time?

You'll get a few sneak peeks within 48 hours that I will likely also put on my socials and are free to share.
Your gallery for selection will be available within 3-4 weeks.

Do you Travel?

I generally shoot within a 30min drive from home but this stretches quite a way. My reach might be up to the hill, out to Bibra Lake or even Hyde Park. If you have a special location in mind let's chat! For a small fee I may be up for an adventure somewhere new.
